WAGE: $65,008.23-$83,907.30 Annually
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assists in the formulation of the preliminary documents; prepares budget records; compiles budgets for multiple functional areas; researches and analyzes data; assists in the resolution of budget issues and requests for information; provides assistance to functional areas

Performs revenue, expenditure analysis. Prepares tracking and monitoring reports as required

Assists with preparing information related to annual financial statements, such as journal entries and financial documents

Create and process purchase orders

Assist in procurement processes and maintain vendor records

Ensure contract compliance by monitoring contract performance, including timelines, deliverables, and budget adherence
-
Create and manage electronic requisitions (e-reqs) for procurement needs
-
Verify contractor charges against agreed rates and terms
-
Maintain contract files and reconcile contract balances with financial records
-
Generate operational reports based on ridership, revenues, vehicle metrics, etc.

Prepare journal entries for payroll expenses, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and procurement transactions

Provides backup assistance in processing payroll transactions and maintaining payroll records
-
Provides backup assistance to accounts payable processing invoices and preparing payments to vendors

Provides backup to accounts receivable transactions and prepare journal entries
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform the job. A typical way to meet this requirement would be:

Associate’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field

One to three years progressively responsible experience in budget management, accounting, or financial analysis

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Two years of experience using computerized accounting systems, preferable Sage MIP Fund Accounting

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
